VCES a.s. is a general building contractor providing comprehensive construction services from project and paperwork preparation to implementation. Key construction projects are in the sphere of structural engineering (civic and housing projects, social and hospital facilities, industrial buildings and reconstruction), water management and water structures, environmental and engineering projects and road construction. VCES’s share of the Czech construction market ranks it among the top ten building companies in the Czech Republic.
The company, which has a registered capital of CZK 250 million, has a considerable building capacity, boosted by an advanced internal labour distribution system. VCES realises important projects for the public sector as well as extensive construction projects for private investors. On average, the company employs a regular staff of 1,100; of these, about 20% are university graduates. In 2005, the Company’s turnover was about CZK 3.8 billion.
From a middle of 2006 VCES is the Czech subsidiary of the Bouygues Construction Group.
