For rest or recreation, there is a nearby archery centre, tennis and squash courts, the Hamr sports compound or the Brumlovka recreation centre. Active relaxation is also possible in the area of Tyrš Hill, Bohdalec Hill or the nearby Michel Forest with maintained biking trails.

The Michle locality offers numerous shopping opportunities. Apart from local shops and convenience stores, there are several shopping malls in the vicinity, incl. Kaufland, OC EDEN, Park Hostivař and Arkády Pankrác. Culture aficionados will be delighted too, with the Na Jezerce Theatre, Na Fidlovačce Theatre and Sue Ryder Home cultural centre all nearby. An elementary school, daycare, library and several restaurants are also located in the neighbourhood.

Traffic accessibility

By car – 7 minutes to Prague’s city centre. The north-west artery that enables excellent connection to the D1 highway to Brno and the Prague ring road with Jižní spojka is situated nearby.

Public transport – Prague’s city centre can be reached in 12 minutes via tram no. 11 to Národní Muzeum. Several PT buses also run past the nearby Michelská bus stop, connecting the locality to metro lines C (Kačerov, Budějovická, Pankrác) and A (Želivského).
